Friends or are they really?

I love it when you think you know a person but find out you actually don't. I had a friend in 7th grade that i always hung out with. We would spend the night at each others houses and then one day she turned. She started lying and acting like she was better than everybody else. Then found out that she was spreading lies about me in 8th grade. We started to grow apart and then we never spoke. What hurt the most was that i thought we were friends but I guess not because now we don't even like each other now.
